Revelex Corporation, a travel technology booking engine for agents and vendors, today announced that InteleTravel, the longtime host agency, chose Revelex as its principal online booking technology partner. Prior to implementing Revelex's booking solutions, InteleTravel offered online booking only to its travel agents. Now, travel agents' customers experience direct access through a simple, comprehensive user interface, giving them the ability to book their own travel through any InteleTravel agent website.

In its early online phase, InteleTravel's agent network booked online travel through third-party technology solutions. With Revelex's solution, InteleTravel has re-established direct relationships with its travel suppliers, eliminating the need for third-party fulfillment partners. This enables agents to regain the commissions previously allocated to third party intermediaries while allowing InteleTravel to take credit for its total volume of agency sales - a critical feature in the retail world.

Using Revelex's solution, InteleTravel's agents also have access to unique booking tools to maximize their time and earnings. For example, each agent can now develop its own personalized website, including photos and contact information, for use as an online selling tool. Agents direct their customers to these personalized websites to book travel directly online. This conserves agents' labor and time while providing enhanced service to customers.
